Nestled in Gilbert, in the heart of northeastern Minnesota’s Iron Trail, the Sherwood Forest Campground is a true camper’s delight!

With 57 sites, ranging from full-service RV pads to simple, rustic tent spots, this campground offers a breathtaking view of Lake Ore-Be-Gone.

The annual “Sherwood Forest Days” Celebration in Gilbert, along with the “Land of the Loon” Festival in Virginia, and the “United States Hockey Hall of Fame” in nearby Eveleth are just a few of the local attractions.

Daily Camping Rates
$13 (tent sites) to $18 (full service-RV pads) plus tax. Prices subject to change.

Campground Features and Amenities
Large restroom building equipped with security locks on outer doors and handicap accessible toilets and showers. Reasonably priced firewood and ice available. Large, elaborate playground inside the campground.

Lake Access
Each site has a view of the lake. Lake Ore Be Gone Lake is known for walleye, northern pike, and trout fishing.
