Member-owned cooperative park. Common festival and camping grounds, founded on shared values of peace, justice and cooperation. Open to the public.

Established in 1929 by a vibrant Finnish cooperative movement on the Iron Range. Historic pavilion is on the shore of beautiful, spring-fed Mesaba Park Lake (also known as North Star Lake). Worker’s education camps, union organizing, senior citizen camps, children’s camps, labor rallies, community festivals, dances, plays and other fundraising events have all found home here.

Our Midsummer Festival continues as an annual celebration along with children’s arts camps now in its 8th year.

Perfect place for progressive organizations, art workshops and retreats, family camping, family reunions, weddings.
