Hoyt LakesThe Hoyt Lakes trail is easy accessible right outside the City of Hoyt Lakes. Starting point is the Birch Cove Beach Parking lot 1/4 mile north of Country Road 110. This 5 km trail winds through beautifully hilly terrain covered with birch and aspen forest. Stunning views of Colby Lake is a highlight of this trail, which is great for beginning to intermediate cross-country skiers and for families for hiking. An abundance of wildlife lives in the area and often you'll spot deer, moose and wolf tracks.Directions: From Country Road 110, take Birch Cove Road (east of the Hoyt Lakes Arena) 1/4 mile north.
